An Invitation from Pastor Gregg
You were invited here because your sisters and brothers at Park Avenue Church care about you and the loss of your loved one.
As your pastor that certainly includes me, but far more importantly, God loves you. God is always with us and has made eternal promises that sustain us in times of sorrow.
I'd like to recommend some resources that can help you day by day along your journey of loss and healing.
First, there's music. Some of you will remember the years pianist Henry Wiens was on the music staff at Park Avenue assisting Kevin Hofer and Tom Fitch. Since Henry left the Cities in '98, thousands of people across America and abroad have discovered his gentle healing piano music via Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify, etc.
Second, there's wisdom for the journey. As you scroll down this page, you'll find professionally produced grief support videos. Many people find this type of guidance invaluable at various points along the way. Whether sooner or later, that's up to you.
Please select Henry's music by clicking on the albums below. In addition to many traditional and contemporary hymns, the albums feature other themes: inspirational, classical, patriotic and Christmas.
